Gabriel Calderon Pellegrino Takes the Helm of Haitian Football Team as Interim Head Coach

The Haitian Football Federation, through its Normalization Committee, has put an end to speculations regarding Jean-Jacques Pierre, who, according to a note published on his Facebook page this Monday, May 1st, 2023, has not been renewed as head coach of the national team. The Federation took the opportunity to designate someone to ensure the interim while waiting to officially appoint the new national team coach for the Grenadiers.

Firstly, in this note, the Haitian Football Federation informs everyone that the employment contract binding them with the national team coach has come to an end on Sunday, April 30, 2023.

Then, it officially announced that Mr. Gabriel Calderon Pellegrino, the current national technical advisor at the FHF, will be the interim coach.

The FHF, after this decision, did not hesitate to praise the Hispano-Argentinian coach, saying that with many technical experiences, notably in Spain (Real Betis, Malaga, Leganes, and Getafe),
