Frantz Drice: From a Substitute Judge to the Pinnacle of His Career as a Judge at the Haitian Court of Cassation

"My dream of sitting on the Court of Cassation has come true after 23 years," says Judge Frantz Drice with a smile on his face. He proudly holds his position today, stating, "We don't get any gifts." Frantz Drice is a criminal law expert and professor, known for his strictness. He has only granted one release warrant during his nine years as an investigating judge. "A criminal lawyer is strict. Frantz Drice started his career as a substitute justice of the peace in Delmas in 1995, before being transferred to the Carrefour justice of the peace.
