Haitian-Canadian singer wins 2016 Polaris Music Prize

The album "99.9%" by Kevin Louis Celestin, known by his stage name Kaytranada, was crowned winner of the 2016 Polaris Music Prize. The unveiling of the $50,000 prize was announced by Buffy Sainte-Marie, winner of the 2015 Polaris Music Prize at the annual gala held on September 21st at the Carlu in Toronto, Canada.
