Yanick Lahens’ latest book translated into English

"Bain de Lune” (Moonbath) the latest novel by Haitian author Yanick Lahens which won the Prix Femina in 2014 has just been translated into English under the title "Moonbath". The translation was done by the American writer and translator Emily Gogolak on behalf of Deep Vellum Publishing, a publishing house based in Dallas in Texas.

The novel is prefaced by the prolific American author Russell Banks' novel released in bookstores next summer, specifically on June 13, 2017. Lahens’s novel has already been translated into Italian by Martina Bucci under the title of "Bagno di luna" and published by Gremese editions in 2015. Two translations including one in Spanish and one in Norway are underway.
