Haiti once again champions of the Caribbean Cup U-17

On September 25th, at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad, as part of the final of the Caribbean Cup U-17 (also counting for the 2nd phase of qualifying for the World Cup FIFA U-17, India 2017), our young Grenadiers faced off with Cuba and retained their title of champion of the Caribbean, by beating the Cuban selection 5-0.

In the first period, Cubans played well defensively against the Grenadiers, conceding 1 goal by Steeve Moondestin. At halftime, the score is [1-0] for Haiti. Due to the determination of our Grenadiers, they were able to score 4 more goals. This tournament ensures that Haiti will take part in the final phase of the qualifiers in Panama City, Panama in April-May 2017.
