Before his performance, Dj Nal, Steezy, and Valmix, among Haiti’s most popular DJs, got the crowd going. Local superstars TPO, Diyosa, Wendy and P-Jay also took to the stage, each performing two or three songs per set.
At midnight Dj Last One, Maitre Gims’s DJ, took over the stage. Fifteen minutes later, the Maitre himself began to perform, beginning his show with "Zombie" from his first album and then moving on to his newer hits.
He also stopped to interact with the public from time to time. "Ayiti sak pase?” said the artist repeatedly.
