To mark their tenth year, the organizers promise that it will comprise many activities, including workshops, performances, exhibitions, and parades. The festival began on July 26th and will come to a close on July 31st.
In addition to promoting Haitian culture in the world, the festival wants to promote a cultural exchange. Haitian artists such as Gaya, AfroVibes, 4Mula, Lakou Mizik, DJ Stuba, DJ Rocksteady, and many more are set to take the stage. A rara parade is schedule to take place on July 30th in the streets of Montreal.
