Robert Martino honored for his contribution to Haitian music

A guitarist since the age of 16 and father of two musicians (Roberto Martino, singer and guitarist, and Reynaldo Martino, maestro and keyboardist for the band T-Vice), Robert Martino was honored on July 2nd in Pétion-Ville.

Once a member of Les Difficiles de Pétion-Ville, Les Gypsies, Le Scorpio Universel (1977), Top Vice of Miami and then Nu-Vice, the artist was honored by singers including artists B Steph, Ayitti, Alexa, Charline Jean Gilles, Queen Bee, Mandela, Misty Jean, Janjan Roosevelt, BélO, Mikaben, Lionel Benjamin, and Misty Jean for his contribution to Haitian music. Flowers and an Honor and Merit plaque were also awarded by Guy Didier Hyppolite, Minister of Tourism. After the performances of the aforementioned artists, they left the podium to Martin
