Stephanie Villedrouin among 2016 class of Young Global Leaders

On March 18th , the World Economic Forum released the names of the 121 people of the 2016 class of Young Global Leaders (YGL). The class is made up of scientists, government leaders, future business leaders, social activists and artists under the age of forty who are positively impacting policy, society and the world around them.

More than half of the laureates of the Young Global Leaders Class of 2016 are women and the majority are from emerging economies. The 2016 includes Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, former Haitian Minister of Tourism and Creative Industries, “for her efforts to transform the image of Haiti given to the Public" according to a statement from the Young Global Leaders Forum.
