Lycee Toussaint Louverture: A new look five years after the earthquake

Nearly six years after being destroyed by the devastating earthquake of January 2010, lycee Toussaint Louverture, with its 40 classrooms, is now able to accommodate students in a local brand new, modern and earthquake.

A library and two other laboratorieshave not yet been completed, but the majority of the work has been done. Lyccee Toussaint Louverture students can say goodbye to temporary shelters and the resounding noise of the rue Saint-Honoré. With, among others, 40 classrooms, two computer labs, an interactive digital table (TMI), two bathrooms, an infirmary, the high school was built within the MENF concept of "school 2.0" which is in line with "reforms to reshape the education system."
