After Top Resa in Paris, Iferlie makes returns to Artisanat en fête

Iferlie Louis is an artisan who has never missed Artisanat en Fete, Haiti’s largest artisanal fair. This year, she represented Haiti with three other compatriots in the 37th edition of IFTM Top Resa, an annual event for tourism and travel professionals.

"This is the first time I took part in an international fair. It took me to Paris to Porte de Versailles,” she said. At the far, held from September 26th to October 2nd, she exhibited her embroidery, coats, and dresses. The Ministry of Tourism of Haiti in France accompanied these craftsmen working with cut metal, paper mache, beading and embroidery. Louis has also taken the time to teach her trade to her children, including her daughter Nancy. She set up shop in Petit-Goâve in the town of Blaise and Port-au-Prince on the side of Poste Marchand
