DHL and TECHO volunteers install streetlights and plant trees in Onaville

On September 28, about twenty DHL Volunteers spent the weekend in Onaville, a village located about 45 minutes north of Port au Prince where they installed streetlights and planted trees.

TECHO, an NGO that works with the youth from the Caribbean and Latin America, accompanied the volunteers. On Saturday, they installed the solar powered streetlights. On Sunday, they planted about 1,200 trees in the village. “We believe that participation from the private sector is fundamental to the transformation of our communities.
