The Kellogg Foundation meets its beneficiaries

The Kellogg Foundation, based in Michigan, USA, meeting the beneficiaries of its grants to Haiti to the hotel Karibe Convention center. The beneficiaries are some 70 institutions working in education, agriculture and health whose impact in their communities proved to represent a portfolio of 10 million US dollars a year, said Alix Cantave, program officer for Haiti, Latin America and the Caribbean, on June 25, 2015.

The foundation, launched in Haiti since 1950 before a break in 2006 to assess its operations, returned in 2010 and provided (2011-20015) a 30 million dollar grant to its partners in three years. Education, agriculture and health are priority areas for the foundation whose main purpose, according to the philosophy of its founder, Wilky Kellogg, is to create conditions for the development of children and their families , explained Cantave.
