China's growing presence in the Caribbean

The presence of China in the Caribbean" is the title of a study conducted as part of a partnership between the Institute of the Americas (IdA in French) and the French Development Agency (AFD in French). Published in February 2015, it examined a possible Chinese breakthrough in an area historically under the influence of Europe and the United States.

" llUsing figures and statistics from the last ten years in particular, the study examined China's role and weight in the Caribbean.
