Two Haitian fellows at the University of Antofagasta in Chile

On March 17th, two young graduates of the Faculté des sciences prepared to leave the country for Chile where they will complete a two-year Master’s program in Geology and Mining Engineering at the University of Antofagasta.

llRonaldine Gilles and Valmy Dorival are the two young fellows selected from a list of five undergraduate students who will represent Haiti at the University of Antofagasta in Chile. Ludner Remarais, General Director of the Bureau of Mines and Energy (BME in French) addressed the two students who are committed to returning to the country after training in order to participate in the development of the mining sector.
