Aubelin Jolicoeur, our Mister Haïti

Nicknamed Mister Haiti by the international press, journalist Aubelin Jolicoeur died in Jacmel, in silence and in the intimate affection of his hometown, on February 14, 2005. Promoter of tourism and public relations in Haiti, it would be amiss if we let the date pass in silence. When evoking the memory of this emblematic figure of the Haitian press, it is also important to remember that Aubelin was one of Le Nouvelliste’s high caliber employees.

llA decade ago Aubelin, one of the most renowned Haitian columnists, passed away. He spent more than fifty-five years of his life writing in the columns of the newspaper.
