The National Carnival returns to Port-au-Prince

llLes Cayes,Cap Haitien, and Gonaives each hosted an edition of the National Carnival. On January 16th, Pierre Richard Duplan, Interim Mayor of Port-au-Prince, announced that this year’s carnival will be held in Port-au-Prince. The organizing committee and the official theme of this year's national carnival have not yet established. Pre-Carnaval activities began on January 18th and will come to an end on February 8th.
