A new brewery "for increased production"

On December 10, 2014, in the presence of the Minister of Commerce and Industry and the Director of Investment Facilitation Center (CFI in French), the National Brewery (BRANA in French), presented its new brewery to not only provide more drinks during the holiday season, but especially to increase production by 40%.

ll“Raising the bar every day,” is the objective emphasized by BRANA leaders upon the inauguration of the new brewery, whose construction cost about seven million USD. "The decision to invest more in Haiti is part of our strategy to strengthen our presence in emerging markets," said René Hooft Graafland, Heineken CFO, noting that each brewery affiliated with Heineken keeps its local identity, such as BRANA.
