The Mango Francisque, a variety in high demand on the international market

With the idea of strengthening its commercial capacity in mind, the Producers and Sellers of Fruits in the South Association (ASPVEFS in French), accompanied by a member of Catholic Relief Services (CRS), recently met in Florida where they engaged the director and manager of Caribbean Fruit Connection Corp, a company that imports mangoes from Haiti. According to Dr. Richard Campbell, the Mango Francisque ranks fifth on the list of ten most commercial varieties in demand on the international market. "In this ranking, the French mango follows Tommy Atkins, Ataulfo, Keit, and Kent.
