AVSI takes charge of 600 malnourished children in Port-au-Prince and in the South

The Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), through the Emergency Response Funds (ERRF in French), funded AVSI, a non-governmental organization that aims to prevent acute and chronic malnutrition, especially among children and mothers, isolated in different localities of the Southern Department and in some poor neighborhoods of Port-au-Prince. 150,000 USD have been allocated for the project stated a July 2014 OCHA Humanitarian Bulletin.
