On Sunday July 20th, Kettly Mars and Emmelie Prophéte, two high-profile writers, as part of the “Liberez la parole,” (Liberate speech) program, spoke about literature with moderator Inrico Dangelo Néard before an audience of young people at the Pen-Haiti Center.

"To write, you have to read. All great readers do not necessarily become writers. How I loved to say that when I was teaching. Writing is the art of the five senses.
