Sarah Colimon was born in Port-au-Prince in 1994. She attended l'Institution du Sacré-Cœur of Turgeau and the Collège Catts Pressoir. She began playing the violin at the age of 6 at l'École de musique Sainte-Trinité (Holy Trinity School of Music). At the age of 8, she joined the school’s mini orchestra, and at 9, she joined the Colimon family group's Quartet composed of her father Yves Colimon and his siblings Steve and Sybille (respectively bassist, cellist and violinist with the Holy Trinity Philharmonic Orchestra).
