ANC for the promotion of the small farmers

More than 60% of the Kenscoff population lives off agriculture. Vegetables and fruits of all kinds are the essence of production in this area. Thus, the effects of post-harvest losses in the sector were considerable. Through the efforts of an organization called "AFE Nèg Combite" (ANC in French) association, the Haitian government made a packaging center available to thousands of farmers.

ANC supports the Kenscoff population in several areas. The services it provides is known almost to all. The mission of this 38 year old association is to promote the peasants in many ways. According to Joseph Sauveur, First Secretary of the association, it focuses on the various problems that the population faces. Their priorities are agriculture, education, health, and infrastructure.
