Mole Saint-Nicolas: the development in the Northwest

According to the Haitian government, Mole Saint-Nicolas will soon be the focal area for socio-economic development in Haiti. A strategic development plan for the area of Mole Saint-Nicolas was developed, including a vision and development strategy as well as ann intervention program. The government is looking for developers/investors who may be interested in the region.

On January 6, 2014 the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF in French) launched a public call for expressions of interest from private, domestic, and foreign investors wishing to participate in the development of the Mole Saint-Nicolas. The deadline for submission of proposals is March 24, 2014. Interested parties are invited to submit a written clarification on guidelines issued for this public call for expressions of interest to the MEF before January 31, 2014 via the website (www.mefhaiti.gouv.ht).
