Haiti resuming its position on the world tourism map

Delta Airlines is the first US carrier to include Haiti in its 2013 Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America Guide in decades. This addition is due to the concerted efforts of members of the country’s tourism sector, who work tirelessly to bring Haiti back to its former glory as La Perle des Antilles.

Haiti rang in 2014 on a high note with a series of positive steps, its removal as an imminent danger zone, as of June 1, 2014 and its inclusion in Delta’s tourism guide. In the 2013 travel guide, Haiti’s beaches are listed as some of the most pristine beaches in the Caribbean region.
