Fifth annual Binational Ecotourism Fair

For the fifth year in a row, Haitians and Dominicans are joining forces to showcase the beauty of their surroundings within one of the island’s most remote regions. It’s time again for the Fwa Binasyonal Ekotouristik. Organizers stress the tremendous potential of the area, pointing out that this land so rich in diversity is just a couple of hours from the Haitian capital.

The fair will take place between November 30th and December 15th in the neighboring communities of Savanette and Hondo Valle. Savenette, located on this side of the border, and Hondo Valle, on the Dominican side. It will be two weeks of cultural exchange and exploration in this area which is just waiting to be discovered by local and international tourists.
