The MENFP announces activities to commemorate Dessalines' assassination

The Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) is asking schools across the country to organize educational and cultural activities on October 15 and 16, 2026, in memory of Emperor Jean-Jacques Dessalines, in the lead-up to the commemoration of the 220th anniversary of his assassination on October 17.
