For the second consecutive time, the Haitian international from OL Lyonnaises has been nominated by France Football for the 2026 Ballon d'Or, the awards ceremony of which will take place in London, England (for the first time outside of Paris, in tribute to the very first winner Stanley Matthews for the 70th anniversary of the trophy).
Corventina (18th with 27 points in the Ballon d'Or ranking in 2025), with OL Lyonnaises, had won the Arkema Première Ligue championship, the League Cup, and the Coupe de France before losing in the Champions League final.
