After the Prime Minister’s Office rejected the $250 million electoral budget, the Electoral Council submitted a new budget on April 28 estimated at approximately $225 million for the organization of the elections.

After the Prime Minister’s Office rejected the $250 million electoral budget, the Electoral Council submitted a new budget on April 28 estimated at approximately $225 million for the organization of the elections. Once again, the Prime Minister is still not satisfied with it.

“We still cannot make a decision regarding the budget presented by the CEP. I am not yet satisfied. But we will meet as soon as I return in order to have a budget that reflects the country’s capabilities (State resources, Editor’s note)
