The Delmas municipal government launched, on February 11, an operation to clear the sidewalks of the commune’s streets, which had been cluttered with illegal constructions mainly used for commercial activities. More than a month after the start of the operations, only two interventions have been carried out by municipal authorities, on February 11 and 20, respectively.
