The General Customs Administration (AGD) aims to strengthen the control of goods imported from the Dominican Republic. In a reminder note dated November 3, 2025, the Director General of the AGD emphasized that all importers are now required to attach a certificate of origin to their customs declarations, in accordance with Articles 53 and 54 of the 1987 Customs Code.
