CARDH Presents Security Crisis Recommendations to Authorities

The Center for Analysis and Research in Human Rights (CARDH) presented on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, in Pétion-Ville, a document entitled “Proceedings of the Meetings and Conferences of the Sectoral Table on Security (TSS).” This scientific report, the result of contributions from participants in the TSS, brings together a series of recommendations aimed at curbing the persistent security crisis in Haiti. The initiative was supported by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.

The document was officially handed over by CARDH’s Executive Director, Me Gédéon Jean, to the Transitional Presidential Council (CPT) as well as to the government. It proposes fourteen major measures, divided into seven immediate actions and seven medium- and long-term actions, with the goal of effectively responding to the worsening insecurity in the country.
