An aircraft of the ERJ 145 type, registered N241BC, landed at Antoine Simon Airport in Les Cayes on Thursday, June 12, 2025. It was a test flight by the airline IBC Airways, which is preparing to launch a Cayes–Miami route.
Upon landing, the aircraft and its crew were greeted with a "water salute." On June 12, the city of Les Cayes, via Antoine Simon Airport, welcomed its first international flight.
