Cornell-Bound Nicolas Bélizaire Aims to Transform Haiti’s Economic Future

At 17, Nicolas Christophe Clément Bélizaire is preparing to walk through the doors of Cornell University, one of the most prestigious universities in the United States and a member of the Ivy League. It’s an inspiring journey for this young Haitian, driven by a dream much greater than himself: to contribute to the economic recovery of Haiti.

Originally from the West Department, Nicolas Christophe Clément Bélizaire is the son of the well-known Clément "Kéké" Bélizaire. He grew up surrounded by family members who encouraged him to focus on his academic path. After attending preschool at Coccinelle Kindergarten, Bélizaire enrolled at Cours Privés Collette Millet for part of his primary education, then completed his secondary schooling at Institution Saint-Louis de Gonzague, where he ranked 2nd in the entrance exam.
