The Court of First Instance of Port-au-Prince is leaving Lalue as well as the building of the Special Labor Court due to the prevailing insecurity in the area. Although there had been discussions for several months about relocating the courthouse to the heart of Champ de Mars, under the leadership of former Minister of Justice Me Carlos Hercule, the chaotic situation downtown now forces the authorities to abandon that project.
