What Happened to the National School of Nursing in Port-au-Prince?

On Thursday, February 29, 2024, students from the National School of Nursing of Port-au-Prince (ENIP) were trapped for hours inside their premises, located on the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy (FMP) campus. Outside, Port-au-Prince and its surroundings were engulfed in chaos. One year later, where is ENIP?

A year later, ENIP—the only public institution dedicated to higher education in nursing—has still not been able to return to its facilities on Oswald Durand Street, just like the other university institutions that once occupied this street named after the 19th-century Haitian poet.
