CSPJ Disqualifies 11 Magistrates Over Major Issue

Twenty-four magistrates have been certified by the Technical Certification Commission, while eleven others were denied certification due to a lack of moral integrity, extortion of litigants, involvement in land-grabbing, and connections with armed groups, among other offenses.

The Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ) ruled on the certification reports submitted by the Technical Certification Commission (CTC) during a professional retreat held from September 23 to 25, 2024. These reports were part of the certification process for magistrates and other administrative measures. Twenty-four magistrates were certified, while eleven were not due to issues such as lack of moral integrity, extortion of litigants, involvement in land-grabbing, and ties to armed groups.
