Digicel Foundation Marks 17 Years of Educational Contributions in Haiti

On July 29, the Digicel Foundation released its annual report for the fiscal year 2023-2024, marking 17 years of dedication to advancing education and community development in Haiti. The report highlights the Foundation's achievements and significant progress in its four main programs: school construction, professional development, grants, and employee engagement.

Since its inception, the Digicel Foundation has prioritized education. In its annual report for fiscal year 2023-2024, the Foundation noted that it has constructed over 193 schools across Haiti, providing more than 62,000 students with safe and modern learning environments.

"This report not only summarizes our activities for the fiscal year 2023 but also reflects our cumulative efforts over the past 17 years," said Sophia Stransky, Executive Director of the Foundation, in an interview on Magik9 on August 8, 2024.
