Yuji Kubo, extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Japan to Haiti, visited Le Nouvelliste on Monday, January 29, 2024. Appointed to Haiti in December 2021, Mr. Kubo is the first extraordinary and plenipotentiary Japanese ambassador to Haiti. Prior to him, the Land of the Rising Sun, which resumed diplomatic relations with Haiti in 1956, was represented in Port-au-Prince by chargés d'affaires.
