Republic of China (Taiwan) Commits to 8,240-Ton Rice Donation through Food for the Poor

On Friday, January 26, 2024, the Republic of China (Taiwan) signed a memorandum of understanding with Food for the Poor Haiti for the donation of 8,240 tons of rice. The agreement was signed at the premises of Food for the Poor on the airport road, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan), Wen-Jiann KU, and the Executive Director of Food for the Poor Haiti, Mario Nicoleau.

According to Ambassador Wen-Jiann KU, this agreement is part of the partnership developed between the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the organization Food for the Poor to assist Haiti.
