Prosecutors Address More Than 5,000 Files in 3 Months

In the last quarter of 2023, prosecutors handled 5,111 judicial cases across various jurisdictions in the country, as indicated by statistical data released by the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJPS).

Despite the clerks' strike movement, the final quarter of 2023 concluded on a positive note, according to the figures presented by the Ministry of Justice in a press release. A total of 5,111 cases were processed by prosecutors. Miragoâne's jurisdiction was the only one with no cases handled by its prosecutor. In the jurisdiction of Jérémie, 33 cases were processed.
