Reappointed by Haitian Football Federation, Angelo Jean-Baptiste Sees U20 Haiti Shine in Concacaf Tournament

The Haitian Football Federation has, unsurprisingly, renewed the contract of the Canadian-trained Haitian coach, Angelo Jean-Baptiste, as the coach to lead the national under-20 team in the qualifiers for the World Cup in this category, scheduled to take place from February 23 to March 2 in Saint Kitts and Nevis. "We should be competitive," he promised in an interview with Le Nouvelliste.

Angelo Jean-Baptiste, for a third consecutive mission (after the U20 in 2022 and U17 in 2023), will be in charge of a Haitian football selection. His reputation has risen for doing a commendable job leading the U20 team, eliminated by Jamaica in the quarterfinals. He has gained the trust of the leaders of the FHF Normalization Committee, who have reinstated him for a new mission aimed at qualifying Haiti for the World Cup.
