Undoubtedly, 2023 has been a very challenging year in Haiti, throughout the entire year. The rampant insecurity in the country has impacted all spheres of activities. Cases of human rights violations have remained blatant. "The year has been marked by cases of murder, kidnappings followed by ransom kidnappings, massacres, among others," explained Marie Rosy Auguste Ducena, program manager at the National Network for the Defense of Human Rights (RNDDH).
