Haiti Ranks 88th in the FIFA World Classification

The latest FIFA world rankings were published on Thursday, October 26, 2023. Argentina, invincible since being crowned champions on December 18, 2022, remain in the lead, while Haiti, relegated to League B, has slipped to 88th place, well behind the big guns in the CONCACAF zone.

The Haitian national soccer team, currently without a coach since the end of the contract between Gabriel Calderon Pellegrino and the FHF Normalisation Committee, has fallen down the FIFA world rankings. Unable to beat Cuba (0-0) and Suriname (1-1) in the Ligue A of nations, the Grenadiers, after having been beaten by the Reggae Boyz (2-2, 3-2), were logically relegated to Ligue B, after having taken second-to-last place in a group that was largely within their reach.
