Haiti misses a great opportunity to beat Jamaica

In its second outing in the CONCACAF Nations League, the Haitian national football team took a (2-0) lead at the National Stadium in Kingston against Jamaica on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. However, Haiti unfortunately ended up with a draw (2-2) at the end of regular time and finds itself at the bottom of its group's standings.

After a disappointing start against Cuba (0-0), the Haitian national football team came close to causing an upset against Jamaica, the favorite in Group B, who had defeated Honduras (1-0) in the opening match.

Despite Jamaica's domination, it was the Haitians who scored two goals in the first half. Don Deedson Louicius, who started against Jamaica, netted two goals in three minutes (12th and 15th), giving the Grenadiers a lead of 1-0 and then extending it to 2-0 before halftime.
