On Wednesday, May 10, 2023, the French Prime Minister, Mrs. Élisabeth Borne, presided over the ceremony of the National Day of Remembrance for the Slave Trade, Slavery, and their Abolition in the Luxembourg Gardens in Paris. Haitian singer James Germain made a notable appearance at this commemoration by delivering an exceptional musical performance.
