Taiwan continues to support Haiti

As part of the Haitian-Taiwanese cooperation, the Ministry of Agriculture, represented by the Minister Fresner Dorcin, received two checks from the Taiwan government to be used to promote agriculture in the plains of Les Cayes and Artibonite. The first check, in the amount of 1.9 million, will be used to co-operation project for the development of the cereal sector in the Artibonite valley and the other, in the amount of 734,000 dollars, will be used to build capacity for the production of quality rice seeds in the Artibonite.
