Lycée Charlemagne Péralte Belladère opens

On Thursday, November 6th, Nesmy Manigat, Minister of Education, and Katsuyoshi Tamura, Japanese Ambassador, inaugurated Lycèe Charlemagne Péralte Belladère. This infrastructure funded by Japan was built on a large lot and meets seismic standards. It consists of four buildings with six classrooms each measuring 51.84 m2, a library, restroom facilities, an outdoor stage, a conference room, and a computer lab equipped with fifteen computers connected to the internet.

Ambassador Tamura presented this gift as a gesture of solidarity from the Japanese government to the Haitian people to contribute to reconstruction.
