The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) expresses its concern over the resurgence of xenophobic acts targeting Haitian nationals in the Dominican Republic, particularly pregnant and breastfeeding women. In a press release issued Thursday, May 22, 2025, the ministry denounced the inhumane treatment inflicted on these vulnerable women and called for national and international solidarity.
