The Provisional Electoral Council made public, on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, the new version of the electoral calendar. The first round of elections is set for July 18, 2027, and the second round of presidential and legislative elections is scheduled for October 4, 2027. On October 23, 2027, the country will know the names of all its new elected officials.
According to the new version of the electoral calendar, the CEP will update the software for voter registration and the election from October 19, 2026, to September 28, 2027.
